Shardly LLC is a privately held software company registered in Germany. Work began on 16 March 2025 and the company was registered as an LLC in May 2026. Funded entirely by revenue, it writes its own products and operates them itself, on hardware it owns across three German regions — Frankfurt am Main, Falkenstein and Nuremberg. The company holds two competences deliberately together: running software properly, and dealing directly with the people who use it. Its first product, Shardly, is managed hosting; a second, Bandly, is in development for bands and musicians. All customer workloads, backups and logs remain inside the European Union.
