Shardly has opened a Frankfurt region, positioned for a short hop to Discord's European gateway. Median round-trip time from the new region is measured hourly and published on the status page rather than quoted from a launch benchmark.
The region runs the same owned hardware as Falkenstein: Ryzen 9 cores with no overselling, NVMe storage, and switching operated by Shardly rather than by a hosting reseller.
